First Product Review | Benefit They're Real! Push-Up Liner

Hello!!

I recently purchased Benefit's new eyeliner because I have been hearing a lot about it for quite some time. I've now had it for over a week without using it, simply because I haven't had anywhere to go that I deemed worthy of a look featuring this liner.

Today I am going on an outing to The Grove with my best friend, so I decided it was the perfect time to try it out and post a review.

Packaging- I love the packaging. It is very "benefit-esque." It's simple and clean and I really like that.
Design- The design of the applicator is honestly the most innovative thing I have ever seen or used. I'm a little obsessed, and I couldn't wait to see if it really worked!

Actual liner formula- The formula of the liner is gel, yes. However, it is a kind of clumpy gel. It wasn't completely smooth going on, which was a little disappointing. On the bright side, it is very pigmented and dark, which is nice!!
Application- After clicking the pen about a million times to get the gel out I was finally ready to apply! It was honestly so easy. It couldn't have taken me more than 5 minutes for both eyes and they were even!! I was very very impressed at how close to the lash-line it got and how nice it looked.

This picture was before I added mascara
Did it last?- Yes. After about 10-12 hours of wearing this liner it was still perfectly in tact, through sun and sweat.
Removal- SO HARD TO GET OFF. I guess that's a good thing. It's ironic because the reason I love it so much is because it was so close to my lash-line, but that also made it so difficult to remove. I was able to get it all off using q-tips and Clinique's Naturally Gentle Eye Makeup Remover and Neutrogena make up removing wipes for the little remaining bits and my mascara.
Overall- I'm very happy with this purchase and I cannot wait to use this liner again.

That's all for now!
